Once more, the Guardian writes an article about genre that only shows half of the picture and totally neglects women's contribution to the field. And while there is nothing wrong with celebrating the Tolkiens, the Gaimans, the Pratchetts, and the Robert E. Howards of fantasy, let's not neglect the women authors who came before us and are among us now.
Let's also celebrate the new wave of fantasy authors who are bringing diverse and fresh commentary into the field.
