I know I've been out of sight these last two weeks, but the combination of a blog tour and a deadline for Without Light or Guide have sucked all of my time. If you want to keep up with the blog tour and reviews for In Midnight's Silence, you can see what you missed at my Events page where I have posted ALL THE LINKS.
While I was offline over the weekend, Mark Lawrence reviewed In Midnight's Silence on Goodreads, and simply made my day. Around the World in 80 Books and Bibliotropic also rang in with their thoughtful reviews. I've been blogging like a mad thing. I told you about my favorite fallen angel at Bibliotropic one day, and my favorite horror flicks at Stellar Four merely three days later.
I'm back now with more blog posts coming over the course of this week and next week, BUT IN THE MEANTIME ...
My publicist at Harper Voyager bestowed upon me several codes for free copies of In Midnight's Silence. This is EBOOK ONLY. But codes ... I have them, and I want to share those codes with you.
To celebrate all the wonderful reviews that In Midnight's Silence has been receiving, I am going to do a giveaway whilst giving you the opportunity to entertain me. Here is your chance to give me the creeps ...
There are THREE ways to win:
Send me a creepy photograph that you have taken. You may photoshop your picture to your heart's content. Remember, you can get your creep on with even the most mundane scenes and a little color manipulation. All I ask is that the photograph be yours and that you give me permission to post it on my site. Remember, we're going for creepy, not gross, and I reserve the right to determine what is safe for my blog.
A drawing or computer graphic of your interpretation of a member of Los Nefilim (Nephilim), an angel, or a daimon OR submit a drawing or computer graphic of a creepy subway scene. You don't need to read In Midnight's Silence in order to do this. Let your imagination run wild and give me your interpretation of Los Nefilim, angels, daimons, or a truly spooky metro scene. The setting is Barcelona in the early thirties. After that, you're free to go crazy. All of the same rules that apply to photographs apply here: I ask is that the drawing or computer graphic is yours and that you give me permission to post it on my site. Remember, we're going for creepy, not gross, and I reserve the right to determine what is safe for my blog.
On JULY 21, 2015, I will open the slate for voting. THREE CODES for an ecopy of In Midnight's Silence will be awarded:
1. Best photograph;
2. Best drawing/computer graphic;
3. One winner will be chosen at random from all of the entries.
On JULY 24, 2015, the winners will be announced.
Send your creepy photo or drawing to me at frohockt AT gmail DOT com ... you know to add the appropriate symbols for the AT and DOT. I'll post the pics and you, the reader, can decide who is the creepiest of them all.
